Lk.4/40: All who were sick with various diseases brought to Jesus. He placed his hands on every one of them and healed them all.

Compassion is the total surrender for the welfare of the other. We, the Sister of the Destitute are the living witness of Jesus the Compassionate.

           SD sisters of St. Vincent Province render valuable services to the side and the suffering people in Jyothi Hospital under the diocese of Balasore, Orissa. The Sisters who are working in medical college Kozhikode and Govt. hospital Muvattupuzha give special attention to the poor patients.

Dispensaries

          The service of dispensaries according to our call to care for the poor and the destitute give the ray of hope in the remote areas.

  • Prescribed medicines are given
  • Health awareness classes.
  • Training to look after the bed –ridden patient.
  • Counselling.

Terminal Care Center, Pain and palliative Care Center (Cancer patients)

   ‘Getting close’ to those who suffer

‘Swanthanam’ in Chemperi,   ‘Karuna Bhavan’ in Adimaly can be of great relief of poor in their weak and discarded stage.

Samaritan Dental Clinic – We use modern technology for the convenience of patients.

Multi Rehabilitation center – It is a center mainly for the rehabilitation of Autistic, Cerebral Palsy and Stroke patients and Physiotherapy.

St. Vincent Province found its strength in the simplicity of its Charism, in the care of poor and destitute, the sick and the age, a care which addresses the profound mystery of suffering and salvation in Christ.
